Starting Your Class
Once you have registered for your course, you must retrieve course information online. It is possible to get information about your course by:
- Visiting http:courseschedules.njit.edu and selecting the correct semester.
- Clicking on the appropriate subject/department to bring up a list of courses being offered.
- Clicking on a course to display the profile.
The course profile may include a welcome letter from the instructor, a syllabus, how to obtain course materials, contact information for your instructor and learning management information (WebCT, Moodle, iTunes U).
In addition to retrieving information about your course it is important that you become familiar with the:
- Account and login procedures that will be used to access computer systems
- Minimum hardware and software requirements required to have a positive online experience
- Exam and grading procedures for online courses
- Method for evaluating your course at the end of the semester
